Mosaic Red

Welcome to my little corner of TCFL. I plan on rambling incessantly about my day to day strife, and the turmoil that I call life. It won't all be interesting, it won't all be flashy, but it will be me. And that's what counts. So come inside if you want to check things out, and peer into the twisted black hole that is my mind.

Update.. I am no longer in Afghanistan, I am back in Idaho living the dream as always. This is my journal, my blog, my story.

Define "Good"

Thursday, 11 December 2008 04:00

You would be amazed what can be "found" or "aggressively acquired" with the proper motivation.

What's wrong with the shower...

Monday, 01 December 2008 10:35

Something has been truly bothering me the last couple weeks since I arrived out here in the middle of nowhere. Why is it, that culturally, some people are just against showers? I won't mention the specific regional group of people that are involved in this fiasco (no need to have people yelling at me over it). But I just can't understand. Every morning I get up and go workout. More often than not I am a sweaty mess by the time that I am done. My first step of action is a bee-line for the showers. Get in, get clean, get out. Nothing special there. It's after the shower, when I'm trying to brush my teeth or shave, when the annoyance really starts to hit. There is almost always someone standing right next to me at an adjacent sink, bathing. That's right...bathing in the sink.
