Welcome to my little corner of TCFL. I plan on rambling incessantly about my day to day strife, and the turmoil that I call life. It won't all be interesting, it won't all be flashy, but it will be me. And that's what counts. So come inside if you want to check things out, and peer into the twisted black hole that is my mind.

Update.. I am no longer in Afghanistan, I am back in Idaho living the dream as always. This is my journal, my blog, my story.

In case you don't know, I work in an emergency room, and have for a few years now. I've noticed more and more how parents are using the emergency room as a walk-in sick call. I just don't get it. If you come up to my desk, with three little ones, and tell me that all three need to be seen because they have the flu.... what the hell do you want me to do?

The gripping fear of death...M2

Wednesday, 23 September 2009 22:45

Nothing in my life has ever scared me as much as M2 did. In a course of 4 days, she traumatized me more than a year in Afghanistan. No.. I'm not exagerating, blowing this out of proportion, or "spicing" this story up. I will simply write what happened, and let you interpret if my fears are justified.
