So it’s the 22nd. Year 3 has begun. I got the Welcome thread switched over precisely at midnight. It’s the only thing that got done on time in the last 3 months.
I had so many plans, so many ideas, and 91 days. I worked on my list maybe 20 of them. I’ve been working at the day job a lot more than usual, and other aspects of my life have gotten far more demanding than usual. On the plus side (or not), the day job is spiraling. I’m either going to be thrown out or (more likely) walk out sometime soon if things don’t change. So yea, things have been a little crazy on my end. And TCFL had to suffer for it. Sorry, everyone.
My plan was to take the month of August off from TCFL work, just shift into neutral for a month, keep up with whatever was going on and be available if needed, but have no major obligations. Well there’s another plan I’ve blown. I’ve got a record-breakingly long list of half-done projects as a result of the disaster that became of my AS2 schedule. So I’ll be playing catch-up for August. Anniversary Season may be over, but this year, it doesn’t mean the beginning of my “off season” for site work. Not yet, anyway. Still have things to do.
So what are you still waiting on me to achieve? The following is not a complete list, just a sampling, and all stuff you guys can actually see when completed.

* Minor menu adjustments

* Implementation of some new graphics (some of which have been waiting on me for an embarrassingly long time)
* Correction to the banner to accommodate larger screen resolutions
* Addition of another ad pane below the existing one
* New Café Press Shop Ad Image (new merchandise coming there, too!)
And like I said, there’s some other stuff, much of which you won’t even be able to see. So let’s hope August turns out to be a better month, and I can finally get some stuff done.

Thanks for a great second year, and for being so patient with the slow launch of the third. Despite all the stress, drama, and miscellaneous problems TCFL brings into my life, I love this site, this community. You guys are an important part of my life. Thanks for hanging around.
